In my yoga classes, it’s not about mastering increasingly complex or ever-new asanas (postures), but about using them as a way to feel, explore, and perhaps rediscover your body. Over time, this can help release tension, improve posture, and enhance your overall body awareness.
My sessions are primarily based on elements from Hatha Yoga and Hatha Flow. In the slower-paced Hatha Yoga, you have time to really feel into each posture, integrate adjustments, and deepen your experience. In Hatha Flow, the postures are connected in a fluid sequence—you move with your breath from one pose to the next, focusing on the breath and allowing movement to become flow.
Each class also includes breathing exercises (Pranayama) from Kundalini Yoga. The focus in Kundalini Yoga is to get your energy flowing again. These exercises (Kriyas) often involve dynamic movements combined with specific breathing techniques, targeting particular areas of the body (e.g. the heart space) or specific intentions (e.g. releasing blockages). They help you open up and connect not only physically, but also energetically.
Laura’s Good Morning Yoga session awakened my body, calmed my mind, and nourished my soul. I truly appreciate her mindful, clear, and loving guidance. Her class had a deeply centering and energizing effect. Inspired by the session during my vacation, I felt a strong desire to bring this practice into my daily life. No sooner said than done—Laura created a personalized short yoga routine for me and shared it online. Formidable!
